Our major differentiator from all other traditional electrocoagulation systems is Thincell’s innovative method of maintaining efficiency and flow consistency through the use of a non-scaling, sacrificial electrode technology that eliminates passivation.

Large energy sources, acid washing and electrode grinding are no longer an issue. This Water Vision solution feature adds enormous benefits not found in any competitive product.

the water treatment process

  • Aluminum introduced as sacrificial electrode
  • Electrode degrades while water is treated
  • Electrode material nears exhaustion
  • Sacrificial electrode completely consumed

how does
thincell® technology work?

Equipment Features

Water Vision equipment cells are customizable to suit customers’ needs and are configurable to any flow rate. They are available in a broad range of sizes to suit specific applications. Typical equipment ranges include:

Unit sizes from 5 gpm to 500 gpm

DC Power - 95 amps to 500 amps and 25-35 volts to the EC cells

Power – 220v single phase to 480v three phase

Full five year pass-through warranty on power supplies

comparison to Traditional EC

disadvantages of Traditional ec

  • Power increases with electrode passivation
  • Large equipment footprint
  • Costly electrode plate cleaning or disposal
  • Increased downtime
  • Intensive maintenance manpower
  • Variable flow rates
  • Replacement media or electrode costs
  • Increased personnel safety risks

disadvantages of chemical treatment

  • Need for expensive chemicals
  • Large amount of sludge production, removal and disposal
  • Inability for reuse of chemically treated water
  • Requires post-treatment filtration
